Adam Maltpress will be Standing Up for Sams
The first act to be confirmed for the Stand Up for Sams benefit gig is Adam Maltpress, stand-up comedian and performance poet.
Adam’s crude and puerile stand-up won him a place in the 2000 Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards semi-finals while his cruder and more puerile poetry won the audience vote at this year’s Cambridge Word Fest poetry slam event. Founder member of the Swansea Comedy Guild and former vice-president of the Cambridge University Comedy Society - despite not quite being clever enough to be a student there - Adam’s been off the circuit for a short while, but now he’s back, loins girded and ready to go.
